We had a wonderful stay at American Pines Cabins for a weekend getaway. Location was convenient to Keystone and local attractions. The grounds are beautiful. Everything was ready for us when we arrived and the owners were quick to respond to any question. Cabin came with a well-equipped kitchen and was very clean! We stayed here on a last-minute booking as part of a cross-country road trip (2/5/25 - 2/7/25).  For the price, it was unbeatable!  The host was super communicative, and it was close to everything, but still remote enough to feel off the beaten path.  Cannot recommend it enough!  They’re pet friendly as well.

Very clean cabin.  Great location too.  Only draw back was its not handicap friendly.  Toilet too low.  Shower hard to get in with s tub.  Rooms are nice just too small for a walker.  I also brought my motorized scooter.   Couldn't use  it.  Just not fit for the handicap.

Perfect location for us. The cabins were away from town but only a five minute drive to Keystone restaurants and shops. It was a great home base for our day trips to Mt. Rushmore, Deadwood, Sturgis, Custer State Park, Devil's Tower and Badlands National Park. We saw lots of turkeys and deer around cabin. The cabin was cute, clean and comfortable. We had good reception for phones and TV, as well as updated appliances and some kitchen necessities, plus a grill, which we didn't use. The bed was comfortable and the shower had great water pressure and hot water. Booking was easy and check-in/out via text was convenient. We highly recommend American Pines Cabins.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed our recent stay with American Pines. The cabin was perfect: conveniently located, clean, and comfortable for us and our two small dogs. Would definitely visit again sometime in the future. The location is beautiful and I highly recommend it.

While my family didn't spend much time in the cabin itself, it was a perfect base camp for our trip into the Black Hills. The cabin was clean and secure. We didn't have much interaction with the owners, but they were always a text away and offered any assistance needed. It was a very smooth, easy transaction. The location was perfect.  We did four day trips, and everything was at most 1.5 hours away, with the majority of our activities less than that. You don't have far to go to find something to do. However (and it's a plus for me), the cabins are tucked back a little bit in a nice peaceful location. Highly recommend a stay here and would love to repeat business with them.

This was a clean little cabin. Perfect size for our family of 5 with the pull out bed, and fully stocked kitchen. My 11 year old loved exploring the creek and my teenagers played basketball and football every evening.  There is a playground if you have younger kids. Just a few minutes from Keystone, plenty of food options and things to do. We stayed here and made our visits through the black hills. Sturgis and Deadwood are all withing a day trip.
